PlayStation has an impressive line-up of exclusive games that greatly influence a buyer’s decision when buying a console. One such game is God of War (2018) which was accepted as the best game of the year by several publications. Playstation owners have been enjoying the uniqueness of the game till now. However, this will change in January 2022. PlayStation has announced that the game will be made available on PC.
Sony PlayStation made the announcement via its official blog. The game is scheduled to arrive on PC on January 14, 2022. Buyers can get this game ₹3,299 on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The studio that developed the game said, “All of us at Santa Monica Studios are overwhelmed by the support and passion from fans of the God of War series since the release of the latest chapter in Kratos’ story. As of August 2021, on PlayStation 4. 19.5MM copies have been sold for God of War and we can’t wait to share that experience with a new group of players on PC.
PC gamers will be able to experience the journey of Kratos and Atreus on supported devices and unlocked framerates with the option of True 4K resolution.
The PC version includes a wider range of graphical presets and options. Users can improve the visual experience based on their setup.
PlayStation also announced that the game will have full integration with NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), available on RTX.
In addition to DLSS, the game will also feature NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency Technology. Reflex provides a more responsive feel allowing you to react faster and hit harder combos.
Along with graphics and performance improvements, the studio is also offering 21:9 ultra-widescreen support.
The studio will support both controllers and keyboard mapping customization for God of War on PC.
The game will support DualShock 4 and DualSense wireless controllers, in addition to a wide range of other gamepads.
