PM Modi inaugurates WHO-Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar

Delhi Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the WHO-Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, Gujarat in the presence of Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of WHO and Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.

after laying the foundation stone of traditional medicine At the centre, the Prime Minister said that this center has opened the door to the era of traditional medicine in the world.

PM Modi thanks Dr. Tedros and the United Nations to accept India’s proposal and declare 2023 as the International Year of Millets.

“Our proposal to give importance to Bajra has been accepted by the United Nations and the year 2023 will be celebrated as International Year of Millets”, PM Modi S.

He continued, “I have known Dr. Tedros for a long time and whenever we have met, he has recounted his learnings from his Indian teachers with such prestige, expressed his feelings with such joy, that India His affection is visible for the form of an institution today.”

He made us feel ‘Triveni’ in a way and touched our hearts by speaking in Gujarati, Hindi, English, PM Modi said.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal were also present at the function.
