New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Urged all MPs to make budget session on Monday Parliament To deliberate with an “open mind” and ensure that the ongoing assembly elections do not affect the session, which is very important as it lays out a blueprint for the entire year.
Addressing the media just before the start of the session, PM Modi He said that it is true that due to frequent elections, sessions and discussions get affected, but elections have their place and will continue to happen, and expressed hope that they are free, thoughtful, full of human feelings and good intentions. There will be discussions.

The Prime Minister said, “Today’s global situation has many opportunities for the country as the country’s economic progress, vaccination program against COVID-19 and India-made vaccines have built trust for it across the world.” Modi’s appeal for a debate with an “open mind” comes at a time when the session is likely to be tumultuous and opposition parties are ready to raise issues like the Pegasus controversy.

In this budget session too, the “open-minded” discussion of parliamentarians could become an important opportunity to make a global impact, Modi added.

“I hope that all MPs and all political parties will definitely help to take the country on the path of progress and accelerate it by providing quality discussions with an open mind,” the PM said. Modi said, “… I urge all the members of Parliament that elections have their place and will continue to happen… This budget session is, in a way, a blueprint for a whole year and therefore, it is very important. ”
“As fruitful as we make this session with full commitment, there will be a great opportunity to take the country to new economic heights in the coming year,” he said.

The session comes before the assembly elections in five states – Uttar Pradesh, Punjab – from February 10 to March 7. Manipur, Uttarakhand and Goa. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
