PM Modi to address two rallies in Tripura on February 11

PM Modi is scheduled to address the first rally at Ambassa in Dhalai district around 12 noon, and the second at Gomti, which is likely to begin at 3 pm

Prime Minister Narendra Modi The party’s state media in-charge Sunit Sarkar said he would be in Tripura on Saturday to address two election rallies in favor of BJP candidates.

He said Chief Minister Manik Saha, BJP’s state election in-charge Mahesh Sharma and party’s state unit president Rajeev Bhattacharya would receive the prime minister at the Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) airport here.

Sarkar said Modi is scheduled to address the first rally at Ambassa in Dhalai district around 12 noon, and the second at Gomti, which is likely to begin at 3 pm.

During the day, the party’s Northeast coordinator Dr. Sambit Patra Bhattacharya along with other leaders held a meeting here to discuss the preparations ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.

The government said that the Prime Minister may also visit the state on February 13.

According to senior police officers, security has been beefed up across the state in view of the PM’s visit.
