Tripura Election Result 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new BJP-IPFT government in Tripura on March 8 (Wednesday). A senior official gave this information today. In the recently concluded Tripura assembly elections, the BJP won 32 seats in the 60-member assembly, while its ally IPFT won one seat.

“Chief Secretary SK Sinha is holding a meeting with senior officials regarding PM’s state visit. An SPG team is also coming today. PM is coming to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new government on March 8.” senior police officer told the media.

Resignation of Manik Saha

Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday (March 3) submitted his government’s resignation to Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya. He had told reporters that the new government will take oath on March 8 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the event. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government will be held at Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala.

“Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is the president of NEDA, is likely to come today. Besides this, senior party leaders and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states will also be invited to witness the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. ” State Vice President of BJP Revati Tripura said this on Saturday (March 4).

BJP’s state in-charge Mahesh Sarma and election in-charge Mahendra Singh are also in the northeastern state.

BJP state spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharjee said, “The meeting of the newly elected members of the party is yet to be finalised.”
