Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India’s biennial haze exhibition – ‘Aero India’ on Monday. ‘Aero India’ will portray the country as an emerging hub for manufacturing military, helicopters, defense equipment and new age avionics.

According to officials, 809 insurgents and delegates from 98 countries will participate in the five-day exhibition at the office’s Yelahanka military base complex on the outskirts of Bangalore.

Around 250 business-to-business agreements are expected to take place in Aero India, paving the way for investments worth around Rs 75,000 crore, officials said.

He said that the theme of the 14th edition of Aero India is ‘The Runway to a Billion Opportunities’. Its objective is to promote the rise of a strong and self-reliant ‘New India’ reflecting the growth of the country’s capability in the defense sectors.

The exhibition will focus on portraying indigenous equipment and links in line with the Government’s ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ vision and partnering with foreign authority.

Addressing a press conference, Defense Minister Singh said that ‘Aero India-2023’ will highlight the country’s manufacturing capability and the progress made towards realizing the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ envisioned by Prime Minister Modi.

He said that this site would play an important role in the development of fixing and aviation sector. Rating Singh said that Aero India will act as a catalyst in the comprehensive development of the wrinkles sector in India and help in realizing the country’s goal of becoming self-reliant in defense manufacturing.

The Defense Minister said, “I am confident that Bangalore will emerge as a global hub for hazy fields. Our aim is to create an environmental protection management system system.
