PM Modi warns Pakistan for using terrorism as a political weapon

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Saturday, hit out at Pakistan, warning Islamabad that those who use terrorism as a political weapon against others must understand that it is their would also be at risk.

“India has developed the world’s first DNA vaccine which can be given to all people above 12 years of age,” Modi said.

Modi launched Zydus Cadila’s three-dose Covid-19 DNA vaccine that was approved by the Indian drug regulator DCGA last month. The vaccine is being touted as the world’s first plasmid DNA vaccine against COVID-19. It uses a portion of the genetic material from the virus to give instructions in the form of DNA or RNA to make specific proteins that the immune system recognizes and responds to.

On Pakistan, Modi said that the countries which are using terrorism as a political weapon, they have to understand that terrorism is equally a threat to them.

India believes that Pakistan promotes terrorism against the country, a charge that Pakistan denies.

In his speech, Modi urged the world community to collectively ensure that “the soil of Afghanistan is not used for terrorist activities against any country.”
