When asked about it, he claimed, “The Prime Minister has said that there is no restriction or self-responsibility with regard to wearing a mask. It is a personal decision to wear or not to wear a mask, he said. I guess I don’t.” If I wanted to wear it, I didn’t. Never mind.”

On Monday, Karnataka reported 27,156 fresh Covid-19 cases and 14 deaths in 24 hours. There are currently 2,17,297 active cases in the state.
