Police arrests 2 more SDPI workers in connection with Kerala BJP leader’s murder

Thiruvananthapuram:

Police have arrested two Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) workers in connection with the murder of BJP leader Ranjith Srinivasan in Alappuzha, Kerala.

The arrests were made on Tuesday. Srinivasan was the state secretary of the BJP OBC wing.

A total of seven SDPI workers have been arrested in connection with the murder. out of seven, Five were arrested earlier,

Srinivasan was killed in Alappuzha district on December 19, following the murder of SDPI’s state secretary KS Shan a day earlier.

According to police, Shaan was on a two-wheeler when he was attacked by a gang traveling in a car on Saturday night. SDPI has alleged that RSS workers are behind this attack.

On 15 November, S Sanjeet, an RSS worker, was allegedly murdered by activists of the Social Democratic Party of India, the political wing of the Popular Front of India (PFI).
