A day after Diwali, Delhi’s air quality crossed the alarming level and the pollution level reached 774.69 at 3 am. The city’s AQI reached 1645 at around 1 pm on Friday. There is a difference in visibility and air quality between Delhi and Uttarakhand. IMD says that the condition worsened due to slow wind speed and moisture in the air. It said the air quality and fog conditions will improve once the wind speed picks up. At present, fog conditions are being created due to lack of wind and excess moisture in the air.
