Pragyan ’22 starts

Pragyan ’22, the annual three-day student festival of the National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi (NITT), was inaugurated on Thursday with events in online and offline format.

Billed as a ‘techno-managerial’ programme, Pragyan is one of the three organizations to have received ISO certification for sustainable event management. In his address, NITT Director G. Aghila said, “The question of how to solve modern problems relies heavily on today’s engineers. With the help of Metaverse, the organizing team can share experiences with those who are absent on campus, to watch Pragyan’s programs “

Mini Shaji Thomas, former Director of NITT was the Guest of Honour. He lauded NITT final year students Mehul Jindal and Ishaan Sharma, who founded the start-up BharatX, and joined Forbes 30 Under 30, and also spoke about the future of technology and its impact on human life. .

Associate Dean of Student Welfare J. Gerald, Pragyan’s chairman R. Rahul also spoke.

Guest lectures, competitions, workshops and exhibitions are being organized in a hybrid format at Pragyan 22 from March 18 to 20.
