Arbaaz, a criminal involved in Friday’s Umesh Pal murder case in Prayagraj, has been killed by the police. Police had an encounter with Arbaaz on Monday afternoon. It is being told that Arbaaz along with the police in the area were targeted near Nehru Park in Dhoomanganj. Arbaaz’s face was caught on CCTV after attacking Umesh Pal, who also drove Asad’s Creta car. It was learned that a vicious criminal named Arbaz, a resident of Salahpur in Puramufti, was involved in the attack but Arbaz was not named in the case filed by Jaya Pal at Dhumanganj police station. The police started searching for the labourers. Meanwhile, STF came to know that he was hiding in Nivans area. It was coordinated by the joint team of Lok Thana with STF and affiliation at Nehru Park. He injured a constable by firing at the police and the situation remained serious due to bullet injury in the hand of Inspector Maurya of Police Station Dhumanganj. He was shot in the chest and leg. The Dhumanganj police brought the injured Arbaaz to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital for treatment, where he died during treatment.
