Premier League 2022/23 fixtures: Crystal Palace vs Arsenal to start new season on 5 August

The 2022/23 Premier League season begins with Crystal Palace at Arsenal on Friday, 5 August, before Manchester City begin their title defense against West Ham.

The 2022/23 Premier League season begins with Crystal Palace taking on Arsenal on Friday, 5 August. Manchester United will begin the 2022–23 Premier League season with a home game against Brighton, while Manchester City will get to defend their title. London Stadium against West Ham.

Liverpool, who finished second last season, will travel to newly-promoted Fulham, and Nottingham Forest to play at Newcastle United for their return to the Premier League after 23 years.

Under new ownership led by Todd Boehley and Clearlake Capital, Chelsea will begin their season playing away from Everton, while Bournemouth will host Aston Villa in their first game in the top flight after earning promotion.

Manchester United, under new manager Eric ten Haig, will start their campaign at home against Brighton & Hove Albion and host Tottenham Hotspur Southampton.

The season will start from 5th August and will end on 28th May.

There will be a mid-season break after 12 November to accommodate the World Cup, which runs from 21 November to 18 December in Qatar. The league will resume on Boxing Day.
