The Prime Minister’s National Apprenticeship Fair will begin today, July 11, and will be organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Skill India mission to promote career opportunities and practical training among youth. Used to be.

For candidates to be considered eligible to participate in the program, they must have a Class 5 – Class 12 pass certificate, a skills training certificate, an ITI diploma, or a bachelor’s degree, according to the release. Additionally, the young and interested workforce will be able to choose from over 500 trades such as welding, electrical work, housekeeping, beautician, mechanic work, etc. Candidates will also earn a National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET)-accredited certificate, which will have corrections. Small scale enterprises with at least four employees will be able to hire apprentices during the event.
