PSG will take on Kawasaki Frontel at Tokyo’s Olympic Stadium on July 20 before taking on Urawa Reds in Saitama three days later, who have won the J-League four times in the past five years.

They will conclude the tour against Gamba Osaka in Osaka on 25 July.

The French club will also hold open training sessions in Tokyo and Osaka, allowing players to “interact with fans and discover Japanese culture”.

This will be PSG’s first tour of the country since 1995.

“It’s a very special moment for the club to announce their summer tour in Japan, right after Kylian Mbappe’s announcement to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, I think it’s the club’s goal.” Shows ambition,” said Sebastian Wessels, Asia Pacific Managing Director of PSG.

“Japan has always been very central in PSG’s strategy,” he said.

Attacker Mbappe, 23, opted to sign a new three-year contract at PSG last weekend instead of joining Real Madrid.
