Pathankot: An army jawan killed two of his comrades in an incident of firing inside Mirthal Cantonment. Pathankot district of Punjab on Monday.
According to highly placed police sources, the jawan who shot his comrades has been identified as Lokesh, while the slain jawans are Havildar Gaurishankar and Havildar Suryakant.
“The incident took place inside Mirthal cantonment and we have registered an FIR at police station Nangal Garib,” sources said.
The jawan, who went on a firing spree, is absconding and the police are yet to ascertain the reason for the firing.
