Punjab Exit Poll Result 2022: India Today-Axis My India sees a resounding victory for AAP

India Today – My Axis India predicts a grand win for Aam Aadmi Party With a 41% vote share in Punjab, that translates to anywhere between 76-90 seats. Meanwhile, the ruling Congress Party is second on 19-31 seats.

The Akali Dal party is projected to win 7-11 seats in alliance with the BJP.

Meanwhile, India News-MRC has given 55 seats to AAP, India-TV CVoter poll has projected 59-67 seats for Kejriwal’s party. Almost all exit polls have given a clear majority to AAP, except ABP-Lokniti CSDS, which has given 36-46 seats.

Punjab is witnessing a multi-cornered contest this time with the alliance of Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance and former Bharatiya Janata Party chief minister Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress Party.

On February 20, assembly elections were held for 117 seats in a single phase. Counting of votes will be done on March 10.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who is the Congress chief ministerial face, is contesting from two seats Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur. Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu is pitted against Shiromani Akali Dal’s Bikram Singh Majithia, AAP’s Jeevanjyot Kaur and BJP’s Jagmohan Singh Raju in Amritsar (East).

AAP’s CM candidate for Punjab Bhagwant Mann told news agency ANI that in whose hands the people’s mandate will keep the future of their children, youth, elders for the next 5 years, is locked in machines (EVMs).

“The results will come on the 10th, we will accept the people’s mandate,” he says.
