Fans of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun are all set to woo him in a big way in Pushpa: The Rise. Ever since its release on December 17, Allu and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is running successfully not only in South or North India but also across the world. Helmed by Sukumar, the film has released in five languages- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi and has emerged as the biggest opener for Allu Arjun in India with the Hindi version of the film. According to Box Office, “Pushpa (Hindi) is doing massive business in some parts of the country. Business in multiplexes is better on weekdays than weekends. In North India too, the film is on hold. Weekdays though. are at a very low level.”

BO said, “The total business of the film is now around 20 crores and it should end the week with 26-27 crores earning. The film has a chance to become a hit which is rare for a South dubbed film.” added.

The action drama deals with the smuggling of red sandalwood in the Seshachalam forests of Chittoor region of Andhra Pradesh. Though Pushpa attracted some controversies with the songs ‘Van Sein’ and ‘Oo Antava’, the film still kept pace. For those unaware, netizens have slammed ‘O Antava’ and demanded a ban on the song for its controversial lyrics and visuals. That being said, the song portrays men as lust which has made it difficult.

The lyrics and music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. ‘Pushpa’ is also Allu Arjun’s first pan-India film as it is releasing in multiple languages ​​across the country. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, while Ajoy Ghosh, Sunil Verma, Anasuya Bharadwaj appear in pivotal roles. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil appears as one of the villains in the film.
