Accidents with planes at airports are rare but not impossible. Despite all the precautions and safety measures, it is difficult to avoid accidents while handling heavy machines. In addition, accidents on the ground are more common with airplanes than in the air. In one such incident, a Qatar Airways Cargo Boeing 777F aircraft came into contact with a light pole on its way to Chicago O-Hare Airport. The pole remained intact after the collision with the aircraft while the aircraft exploded and was seriously damaged. Significantly, the wing of the Boeing was damaged after colliding with the pole.

A picture of a Boeing 777F registered as A7-BFH with a torn wing is going viral on the internet. The photo of the plane hitting the pole was shared on Twitter. The image was shared on Twitter by a user named mzulqarnainb with the caption, “Ouch! A Qatar Airways Boeing 777-FDZ (A7-BFH) collided with a pole at Chicago airport.” It should be noted that the plane had arrived from Atlanta to Chicago O’Hare.

It was planned to leave once again and travel across the Atlantic to Maastricht (MST). However, somewhere in the middle there was a calculation error or communication error, and the plane collided with the pole. Now the wing-clipped aircraft could not make it to its next runway assignment. Over the weekend, it stayed on the ground on ORD.
