Hyderabad-based startup Quantum Energy today showcased its upcoming high-speed electric scooter and the company has signed a contract memorandum of Understanding With MBI Korea to bring advanced technology in high speed scooters to India. Quantum Energy is backed by the Kusalva Group which has been in the automotive industry for the past 50 years. The company has its own R&D center in Bengaluru and a manufacturing facility at Pashamylaram in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The company has four EV Scooter named plasma, electron, Milan and Bziness. The company claims that these scooters offer a wide range of powerful, efficient and cost-effective EV scooters to all its customers. When it comes to specific models, New plasma Powered by a 1500w motor will clock a top speed of 60km/h. In terms of range, a rider can expect to cover a range of over 110 km-130 km on a full charge. The Elektron comes with a 1000W motor power matching, and haste Comes with 1200W motor power, clocks a maximum speed of 50km/h with a range of 80-100kms in various riding modes. The electric scooters are powered by a lithium-ion battery and the company claims that they can be fully charged in 4 hours. The company is looking forward to make a mark in the embryo EV two wheeler market in India.
