Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot on Monday, ostensibly in an attempt to mediate a reconciliation between the two senior Congress leaders. Answering the questions of journalists while coming out of the meeting, Rahul said that good news will come soon.
Congress National General Secretary KC Venugopal was also present in the meeting.
Asked about reconciliation between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, the former Congress president said, “Good news will come soon.”
The meeting between the four leaders lasted for about 30 minutes after which Gandhi left for the Bharat Jodo camp. After this statement of Rahul, speculations are being made that there has been a reconciliation between the CM and the former Deputy CM.
Tight security arrangements were made for the visit of the former Congress president. Rahul stayed at the Circuit House for about one-and-a-half hours and held a meeting with Congress leaders.
After the meeting, Rahul had dinner with everyone at Circuit House, which included senior leaders like Ashok Gehlot, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal. Pawan KhedaTikaram Julie, Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and Shakuntala Rawat.
