RailTel reports consolidated earnings on Thursday 440 crore for the quarter ended September 2022. This is against a 14 per cent growth in consolidated income. 385 crore in the first quarter of this financial year.
The consolidated income of the company for the half year is 825 crore as against an income of Rs 696 crore for the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
railtel Has posted a consolidated profit before tax amounting to Rs. 74 crore in the September quarter 35 crore in the June quarter.
profit after tax 55 crore in the September quarter 26 crore from the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
“RailTel has registered growth in both earnings as well as profit, with 14% growth in earnings in Q1 as compared to Q2 and 112% growth in PAT in Q2 as compared to Q2 in FY23. I I would like to thank all the stakeholders for their trust in our company,” said Sanjay Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, RailTel.
railtel It will continue to provide free WiFi at over 5,600 railway stations across the country including 415 stations, the statement said, adding that RailTel will also continue to provide WiFi connectivity at the remaining stations.
