“Rail Wheel Plant Belapur and Rail Wheel Factory Yelahanka are wheel and wheel manufacturing units. Both have collectively produced 92,118 wheels so far this financial year, which is 6.5 times the number of wheels produced during the same period last year. Similarly, the production of rail axles has also increased by 7% during the same period,” the official said.
