Udaipur: In this case, the police arrested two people on Monday and took a juvenile into custody. the killing Chandan Singh, former deputy sarpanch Of salda in the village Sharda area on Sunday. The attackers targeted his neck and cut off his hands with swords. Singh died on the spot.
Udaipur SP Manoj Kumar Police said arrested Vishwanath Pratap Singh (22) and Kuldeep Singh (20) are residents of village Salda. The police have detained a minor for helping the accused. The accused have confessed to killing Singh out of vengeance.
There was a family dispute between the accused and the victim since 2004. Singh had killed Vishwanath’s father in 2006. The accused, who was only four years old at the time of his father’s murder, had made up his mind to avenge his father’s death.
On 4th March the main accused VP Singh had a heated argument with Chandan Singh over some petty matter and he was once again challenged and humiliated. Upset by the humiliation, the accused decided to kill Singh and with the help of his associates attacked him with swords and sticks near the Kuldevi temple. A case has been registered under the Arms Act and sections 147, 148, 149 and 302.
