Rajasthan boy gets 100 percentile in JEE Main 2023, know preparation strategy

Talking about his preparation strategy for JEE Main 2023 Session 1 topper, Mayank Sono said that he prefers to study early in the morning as it helps him to understand and concentrate better.

A native of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, Mayank Soni is one of the 20 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the exam. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 The first session was held in January this year. Mayank says that it was his strategic timing that helped him achieve the perfect score. He claimed that he devoted five to six hours to studies daily.

Talking about his preparation strategy for JEE Main, he said that he prefers to study early in the morning as it helps him to understand and concentrate better. “Prepared a strategic timetable and devoted 5-6 hours to studies every day. I prefer to read early in the morning for better understanding,” he told News18.com.

When asked how he is balancing engineering entrance exam and board exam preparation, he said, “Preparation for class 12 and JEE Main is almost the same. Along with the core subjects, I did not forget to focus on subjects like English and Hindi and studied them separately,” said a student of Akash Byju’s.

He says that he will give JEE Advanced exam and start preparing for it after board exam. For his IIT preparation, Mayank says that mock papers and videos helped him prepare for JEE Main. He now aims to get admission in any Indian Institute technology (IIT). He claimed, “My aim is to get admission in any IIT college and do some good in the field of technology for the country.”

Mayank, a student of Matrix High School, had earlier scored 94 per cent in his Class 10 board exams. Currently living in Sikar, Rajasthan, Mayank’s father does a government job and his mother is a homemaker.

National Testing Agency (NTA) is currently accepting registrations for JEE Main 2023 Session 2.
