Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot courted controversy on Friday after linking the killings to punitive action against rapists.
Meanwhile, BJP questioned Priyanka Gandhi’s silence. “Gehlot blames strict rape laws not rapists! Says rape-related murders increased after Nirbhaya after stricter laws! Not the first such statement! He also said that most of the rape cases are fake! His ministers Said “Male’s state is why rapes happen” – Priyanka ji is silent?”, tweeted BJP’s Shahzad Poonawalla.
