Jodhpur: Four members of the same family, including two women, died after being hit by a container truck. Abu Road Town Of Sirohi District Wednesday morning. Two others were seriously injured and are being treated at the hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Babulal Suthar (72) and his wife Manu Devi (65), their brothers Govind Ram Suthar (52) and Durga Devi (40). Govind’s wife Pushpa (50) and Durga’s son Tanishk (9) were badly injured.
According to the police, Accident On Tuesday night, the car of the victims broke down near Kiwarli village under Abu Road Sadar police station when they were on their way back to their homes.
Sub-inspector Chunilal said, “They all came out of their car and sat on the divider waiting for morning to arrange for a mechanic to fix their car and continue their journey home.”
Suddenly a container truck going towards Gujarat first hit his car parked on the road and then lost his balance and fell on the divider, where all the victims were sitting.
“All of them got hit by the truck which was stuck on the divider. Two of them died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital,” he said. The incident created a ruckus in Nana village.
