Rajasthan government colleges to get 50 new courses from this session – Times of India

Jaipur: Government colleges of Rajasthan will have 50 new courses from this academic session, the higher education department will release the list of courses on Saturday.

These courses will start in 49 co-educational and one girls college. These mostly include science and commerce courses like Botany, Zoology, Urdu, Mathematics, Chemistry, Public Administration, Home Science, Geography, Sociology, Hindi Literature, Economic Administration and Financial Management.

Courses have been started in colleges in places like Jaipur, Pali, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Churu, Dausa, Sikar, Sirohi, Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Ajmer, Karauli, Banswara, Dangurpur . , Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Jhunjhunu and other places.

The college education department has also proposed to set up 115 lab classrooms for practical subjects courses. The college department has also said that if there is no faculty in any college and permanent faculty is available to teach, then guest faculty should be hired for these courses.

The admission process for undergraduate courses for the academic session 2022-2023 in government colleges across the state has started from June 27 and students can apply till July 9.

The final merit list and waiting list will be published on July 13 and July 18 is the last date for fee submission and documents verification.
