Rajasthan: Kovid-19 active cases marginally increased from 72 to 83 in 24 hours. Jaipur News – Times of India

Jaipur: After neighboring states- Gujarat, Haryana and Delhi also registered a marginal increase in COVID-19 cases, active cases have also increased in the state.
In the last 24 hours, the state’s active cases rose marginally from 72 to 83, as 20 persons were tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on Wednesday, taking its total tally to 12,83,141.
Jaipur reported 16 new Kovid-19 infections in 24 hours, which were reported from 10 different places. Four cases were reported from Mansarovar, while two cases each were reported. Jagatpura And one case each came to light from Jamvaramgarh and Civil Lines. However, there are 22 districts in the state that do not have a single Covid-19 active case, while the remaining 11 districts had 83 active cases, of which 56 were in Jaipur.
The health department is focusing on COVID-19 vaccination. As of 5.30 pm on Wednesday, in the state, 132 persons in the age group of 18 years to 59 years received paid booster doses in private hospitals, taking the number of those who received booster doses in four days to 534.
Compared to booster doses from 18 years to 59 years in private hospitals, free booster doses for healthcare workers, frontline workers and people 60+ are doing much better as 6,948 doses were given to the beneficiary in the free booster dose category.
In addition, 50,770 doses were administered in the state till 5.30 pm on Tuesday, of which 13,893 were administered as the first dose and 29,797 as the second dose.
So far the state has received 11 crore five lakh doses (out of which 30 lakh doses were procured by the state) and 10 crore 34 lakh doses have been given.
