Eight people have been arrested by the Special Operations Group in the Rajasthan Police Constable 2022 paper leak case. Earlier, it was reported that the screenshot of the question paper was circulated on social media platforms. The screenshot was reportedly taken from a school in Jhotwara, Jaipur.
The paper was leaked on May 14, shortly before the second shift of the exam. The paper for this shift will be conducted again, however, the new dates were not announced. The paper envelope was opened ahead of time by the center superintendent of Diwakar Public School, Jaipur.
The recruitment exam was scheduled to be held from May 13 to 16. Over 11.53 lakh candidates had registered to appear for the exam, however, the question paper in one of the shifts for the government recruitment exam was leaked. In the shift in which the exam leaked, more than 2.75 lakh candidates had to take the exam. Thereafter the paper was cancelled. 4388 posts were to be filled through this recruitment exam.
