Jayalalithaa’s first hero and veteran actor, Srikanto, died in Chennai on Tuesday. He was 82 years old. While the entire film fraternity is in shock, the superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamala hasan Condolences on the death of the actor.

Srikanth was Rajinikanth’s first antagonist who became an absolute hero with ‘Bhairavi’. Superstar Rajinikanth remembered his good friend and veteran actor Srikkanth, who breathed his last on Tuesday due to age-related ailments and posted in Tamil, which translates to, “I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear friend Srikkanth. Wishing his soul rest in peace”, tweeted Rajinikanth.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan also posted in Tamil, which translates to, “An all-round performer as hero, villain and character, Srikanth was an avid literary reader and a close friend of Jayakanth. He stopped his movements today. We We will send you our way with a heavy heart.”

Srikanth’s debut opposite Jayalalithaa Vennira Aadai (1965) and K Balachander played memorable roles in a series of classics such as Bama Vijayam, Poova Thalaiya and Athir Neechal, as well as comedies such as Kasethan Kadavulada.
