Rajinikanth health update: Actor to be discharged soon
megastar Rajinikanth, who was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Thursday evening for routine check-up, is undergoing treatment at the hospital. The superstar had to undergo a cartoid artery revitalization procedure after he complained of dizziness. The hospital issued a statement updating fans about his discharge and said, “Rajinikanth was admitted after experiencing dizziness. He was thoroughly evaluated and was advised to undergo cartoid artery revascularization. The procedure was done successfully today. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital. Hospital after a few days.”
Earlier, in December 2020, the star was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad due to fluctuating blood pressure and exhaustion. Last year, Rajinikanth decided not to take the much-awaited political move, citing his health condition. At the time, Rajinikanth had said that doctors had advised him that the fluctuations in blood pressure would affect his transplanted kidney.
