Rajnath Singh asks J&K BJP leaders to be prepared for assembly polls

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday asked leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to be in “ready-mode” for the assembly elections here, after discussing the political situation in the Union Territory, party sources said. reported that the news agency PTI.

Singh held a meeting with the BJP leader from Jammu and Kashmir to discuss various issues including the security and political situation in the Union Territory and organizational issues being faced by the party ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

A party spokesperson said the minister was received at the party headquarters by Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina.

Talking to media persons, Raina said that J&K BJP is all set for the assembly elections, whenever they are here. He said that the party will fight the elections with full force and win with absolute majority and form the government in the Union Territory. He further said that the decision to stop Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir To be taken by the Election Commission of India.

Apart from this, the Defense Minister also discussed the efficient political system in Jammu and Kashmir and the future development of the Union Territory.

During the meeting, he also emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been an unmatched development of every section of the society. Singh also said that PM Modi has taken the country to new heights with his selfless efforts.

“Our PM Modi has taught us how to deal with tough times with maturity. They managed to get the Indian students out of the war-torn Ukraine safely.”

In the meeting where Union Minister Jitendra Singh was also present, the J&K BJP chief praised Rajnath Singh For his role in various matters relating to Jammu and Kashmir, especially when he was the National President of BJP.

The party leaders also expressed their gratitude to the Modi government for the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 (A) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier, Jitendra Singh also said that BJP is always ready for elections, be it panchayat, assembly or parliamentary elections, it is the Election Commission which will decide when the assembly elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir.
