Unless you’ve been under rocks, you might be aware of the much talked about wedding to be held in tinsel town today (April 14, 2022). Yes, we are talking about Bollywood’s power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. After dating for five years, the lovebirds tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai today. The wedding took place at the couple’s residence in Vastu in Pali Hill, Bandra in the presence of family and close friends. The celebrity wedding pictures soon started doing the rounds on social media, receiving immense love and appreciation. Actually, in no time the pictures started trending on social media. And like everyone else, we too are in awe of the adorable pictures. One such picture that caught our attention was that of a wedding cake. This is right!
Kripa Mehta, one of Alia’s best friends, shared pictures from the wedding reception where we saw the couple cutting a beautiful three-tiered cake to mark the start of their new journey. It was a lemon yellow colored cake with cream frosting and floral motifs. There were also star flower motifs that made the cake look chic, elegant, and oh-so-classic. Take a look:

Earlier, Alia shared some beautiful wedding pictures on her Instagram handle. In the pictures, we can see both of them in love, dazzling in pastel colored Sabyasachi outfits. Along with the pictures, Alia shared a heartwarming note which read, “Today, surrounded by my family and friends, at home… at our favorite place – the balcony where we spent the last 5 years of our relationship. Years spent – we got married.”

On the work front, the newly wed couple will soon be sharing the screen for Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming fantasy-drama “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva”. The film is scheduled to release in 2022.
