India lost one of its finest actor Rishi Kapoor in April 2020. The demise of the veteran actor left a void in the life of his brother Randhir Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor, himself a veteran Bollywood actor, feels incomplete after losing both his siblings. Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. now actor Ranbir Kapoor disclosed that his uncle Randhir Kapoor Showing early signs of dementia. The veteran actor is in shock after the demise of his siblings Rishi and Rajiv. Reportedly in an interview, Ranbir has mentioned that Randhir recently watched Rishi Kapoor’s film ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ and said that he should call Rishi so that he can praise him. Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020 after a two-year-long battle with cancer. In a conversation with the news portal, Ranbir said, ‘My uncle Randhir Kapoor is going through an early phase. Madness, and he came up to me after the movie, he said, ‘Tell dad he’s amazing, and where is he, let’s call him’. Art transcends the boundaries of medical conditions… and a good piece of storytelling really embodies that.’ Earlier, in an interview to ETimes, Randhir Kapoor had said, ‘The last year has been a very sad time in my life. Sad is actually a minor word here; Worst would be appropriate. Within 10 months, I lost both my dear brothers – Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) and Chimpu (Rajiv Kapoor). Also, I lost my mother (Krishna Kapoor) and sister (Ritu Nanda) in the last two and a half years.’ He further said, ‘We, my three brothers and two sisters, were very close to each other. Chintu, Chimpu and I used to talk to each other every day. Chimpu used to stay with me and Chintu would either come to the office on days when he was not shooting or talk to me on the phone. We didn’t need anyone when we were together. We were a very happy circus in our own right. We were a strong crowd! That’s all over. There isn’t a day when I don’t think about them. Maybe a year has passed but not a single day goes by that I don’t think about. Life will never be the same again. Meanwhile, talking about the film, ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ recently had an OTT release.
