Range Rover Sport bookings open in India: Deliveries to begin in November – Times of India

Deliveries of the 2023 Range Rover Sport will begin from November 2022. Talking about the exterior, the SUV gets LED light graphics, tall spoiler, LED headlamps and tail-lamps, flush door handles and a sculpted tailgate at the rear which features Range Rover lettering. The brand says that the new design direction has allowed the new Range Rover Sport to deliver a drag coefficient of just 0.29.

Inside, the luxury SUV gets an all-new cabin equipped with a 13.1-inch curved touchscreen Piwi Pro The infotainment system, a 13.7-inch HD driver display, mimics that of the customizable Pivi system. The infotainment unit gets an integrated Alexa feature and can be accessed by voice command ‘Alexa’ or by tapping the Alexa icon on the touchscreen.

In addition to this, the 2023 Range Rover Sport also receives new safety features and an upgrade for off-road reliability. Now the SUV gets an integrated chassis control that takes care of Dynamic Response Pro electronically active roll control and switchable-volume air suspension system. 48V electronically activated roll control coupled with 1,400 Nm torque is tuned for on-road and off-road capabilities.

Mechanically, the Range Rover Sport gets a line-up of six-cylinder Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, paired with mild-hybrid technology, V8 twin turbo engine and electrified powertrain. The brand says that it will introduce the all-electric Range Rover Sport in 2024. Powering the new Range Rover Sport is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine mated to a 105 kW electric mill and 38.2 kWh battery, which generates cumulative . Power output of 510 hp. According to Land Rover, the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.4 seconds and offers an estimated range of around 113 km. Combined, the SUV can offer a range of 740 km.
The Range Rover Sport P440e PHEV powertrain and similar all-electric driving range delivers 440 hp of power. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds.
