Ranveer singh Starrer ’83’ is slowly approaching the coveted 100 crore mark. According to the report of BoxofficeIndia, the film registered a drop of 53 percent as compared to last week and has now earned a total of Rs 98.50 crore. It is going to be a slow race for ’83’ to reach the 100 crore mark. This would not have been possible for ’83’ if films like ‘Jersey’ and ‘RRR’ had stuck to their release dates.

Speaking about the failure of the film, the director Kabir Khan had shared that ’83’ was a victim of the pandemic as it faced several restrictions due to the sudden spurt in COVID cases. “I am feeling excited to make this film which has received so much love but at the same time there is a disappointment that not everyone who wants to watch it can watch it today as the pandemic is with historic numbers. Has nurtured. Two years, waited for the right time so that everyone can watch it on the big screen. But with this pandemic, despite our best planning, it can never be cured,” Kabir Khan told PTI.
