Ravi Teja all set to make his Hindi debut with Khiladi; The film will be released on Valentine’s Day weekend

Telugu actor Ravi Teja, who is known for his action and comedy films, will soon make his Hindi language debut as well. The 53-year-old actor, who was last seen in Krack, will soon be seen playing a double role in his upcoming film Khiladi. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the double role action-packed thriller is all set for a global release on February 11.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, a source close to the development of the Ramesh Varma directorial revealed that talks are in advanced stages to release Teja’s film in Hindi language on February 11 as well. Quoting the source, the report mentions that there are not enough Bollywood movies. It is currently releasing and that is why the makers are working on locking the idea of ​​bringing Khiladi in Hindi language as well. The source further added, “It is an action-packed thriller with a universal story, which is the main reason for the makers to initiate talks on a Hindi release.”

Teja’s previous films such as Kick, Raja: The Great, Bengal Tiger, Vikramarkudu have also become popular among the masses, and hence, Khiladi may also attract some audiences in the main single screen of India.

Teja’s film comes at a time when major Telugu releases have been put on hold. January was to witness the much-awaited releases of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, and Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam. However, the rise in the cases of coronavirus across the country forced the filmmakers to stop the release in theatres.

Pinkvilla reports that the makers of Khiladi have not yet announced to release it in Hindi language as well. As the source told the publication, this will be the actor’s first film to release in Hindi. The report states that Pen Marudhar will distribute the film in Hindi across India and their strategy will be focused on bringing good performances on the single screen. It is a double role action film, and the idea is to provide content to single screen owners.
