Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Sunil Narine ran through the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) middle order as he took four wickets in his four-over spell during his side. Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 Eliminator Monday in Sharjah. West Indies spinners Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers managed to come to the rescue as they cast two modern-day greats to put KKR in a commanding position in the ongoing knockout clash. In the 13th over, Narine deceived Kohli, who went for a slog on the on side but missed the ball completely.

In his next over, Narine overtook de Villiers as the South African batsman played around a delivery that came back and shattered the stumps.

Narine continued his stellar form and took the wicket of Glenn Maxwell, reducing the chances of RCB scoring a big total on the board. Narine completed his four overs with four wickets for 21 runs.

Earlier in the match, Kohli won the toss and decided to bat in Sharjah.

Devdutt Padikkal and Kohli got RCB off to a good start, scoring 49 runs in the first five overs. However, the KKR bowlers returned to the competition with regular strikes.

Narine’s spell helped KKR restrict RCB to 138 for seven from their quota of 20 overs.
