Calia Posey was the star of the American reality show ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’.

Calia Posey, who starred in the American reality TV series ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’, died by suicide in Washington, her family said in a statement. Ms Posey, 16, was one of the most recognizable faces on the internet and became known as the ‘Grinning Girl’ in a viral GIF.
“Although she was a skilled teenager with a bright future, unfortunately in a moment she made a hasty decision to end her earthly life.” The family said in a statement,
Describing her as a high achiever, the family said, “She won countless crowns and trophies throughout her life, having competed on the pageant circuit. Her highly acclaimed talent as a contortionist had already offered her a professional touring job, And she was recently chosen to be the cheerleader at her high school next year.”
The heartbreaking news of Kishore’s death was initially shared by Callia PoseyMother of Marcy Posey Gatterman, in facebook post on Monday night. “I have no words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kaelia. My baby forever,” she wrote.
Multiple publications reported that Ms Posey’s body was found Wednesday in Birch Bay State Park in Washington state, just a few miles from the Canadian border.
The family has set up a charity fund in his name to support others at risk of suicide.
Calia Posey was a star of ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’, which aired on TLC from 2009 to 2013. The show featured families who groomed their children to participate in beauty pageants.
