Realme 9 launched with a starting price of Rs 17,999 with 108MP primary sensor, 5000mAh battery – Times of India

Realme has expanded its mid-range smartphone lineup with the launch of the Realme 9 smartphone in India. The company has launched the smartphone with its flagship Realme GT 2 Pro.
The smartphone comes with a 108MP primary sensor and is powered by Qualcomm chipset. Apart from this, the smartphone also features an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate.
Realme 9: Price and Availability
Realme has launched the smartphone in three color options – Meteor Black, Sunburst Gold and Stargaze White. The smartphone is available in two variants – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB and they are priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively.
The smartphone is to go on sale from 12 noon on April 12 and will be available for purchase through Flipkart, the official website of Realme and other retail partners.
Realme 9: Specifications
realme 9 features 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone has been claimed to deliver a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It is only available with a storage option of 128GB.
Realme 9 runs on Android 12 operating system and comes with Realme UI 3.0. The handset packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
In terms of cameras, the smartphone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup of 108MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide shooter and 2MP macro. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 16MP sensor.
In addition, the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G and more.
