Both the smartphones come as mid-range offerings from the smartphone brand and are in direct competition with other recently launched 5G offerings such as Infinix Zero 5G, Vivo T1 5G, Mi 11i, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G, and others. The Realme 9 Pro 5G has been launched at a price of Rs 17,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs 20,000. On the other hand, the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Realme 9 Pro+ costs Rs 24,999 and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs 26,999. There is also an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant that costs Rs 28,999.
The sale of Realme 9 Pro 5G will start on February 23 at 12 noon (noon) and the sale of Realme 9 Pro+ 5G will start at 12 noon (noon) IST on February 21. The smartphones are available for HDFC Bank customers at a discount of Rs 2,000 on card and EMI transactions.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G also comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766 shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 60W SuperDart fast charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme 9 Pro+ also comes with heart rate sensor. The in-display fingerprint sensor on the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G doubles as the smartphone’s heart rate sensor. There are eight different heart rate visual labels that users can use to measure their heart rate. These include general, working, exercise, racing, excited, stressed, full of energy and sleepless. Realme has said that heart rate tracking is not yet medically approved.
