Redmi 10A coming to India next week, targets budget segment buyers

After launching Redmi 10 last month, Redmi is all set to launch another budget segment smartphone in India next week. The new phone will be known as the Redmi 10A and is likely to be a toned down version of the Redmi 10 that was launched in March this year.

Chinese smartphone makers under Xiaomi’s The stable will launch Redmi 10A in India on April 20. The Redmi 10A is touted to be a ‘desh ka smartphone’, which is largely meant to be affordable for those with an affordable budget.

redmi 10A is likely to start heroine India unlike Redmi 10 which was launched through Flipkart. Due drop display phone Redmi 10A will have dual rear lens and single selfie camera. LED flash is also available in the phone.

The images reveal that the Redmi 10A will probably feature a 6.5-inch HD display with standard refresh rate. The Evol design will continue with the Redmi 10A as we saw on the Redmi 10. The ‘two-day battery’ means that the Redmi 10A could pack a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charger inside the box.

As is the trend, the Redmi 10A will also support virtual RAM support if needed. The company may bring at least a 4GB variant backed by 64GB of internal storage. The phone can run Android 11 out of the box. MediaTek Helio processor can be found in Redmi 10A.

Meanwhile, its predecessor, redmi 10 Was launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 6nm architecture. Redmi 10 sports 50MP main sensor which is backed by 2MP depth sensor. It also comes with a 5MP front camera.

The Redmi 10A is likely to use a 13MP main lens backed by a 5MP selfie camera.
