“The board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 2.5 per share i.e. 250% for the financial year 2022-23 subject to the approval of the shareholders in the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the company,” Rallis India said in a stock exchange filing.

“Pursuant to Regulation 42 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Register of Members and the Share Transfer Books of the Company shall remain closed from Wednesday, May 31, 2023 to Monday, June 5, 2023 (both days inclusive) Taking records of the members of the company for the purpose of 75th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and payment of dividend subject to deduction of tax at source, if declared by the members of the company AGM to be held on Thursday, the 15th June, 2023 The Board of Directors of Rallis India informed the stock exchanges today.

Rallis India reported a net income of Rs. 527.15 crore during Q4FY23 as compared to Rs. 515.02 Cr was recorded during Q4FY22. The company said its net expense 615.43 crore during the quarter ending March 2023 as compared to Rs. 531.26 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company has a net loss (69.13) as against CR during Q4 FY23 (14.13) Cr during Q4FY22 and its EPS stood at (3.55) compared to (0.73) in the corresponding quarter of FY22.

“As a result of the reassessment of future sales potential, the Company has recognized a provision for slow-moving inventory in the Seeds 39.79 crore during the quarter and 52.81 crore for the year ending March 31, 2023,” Rallis India said.

Rallis India declares equity dividend of 300.00% on face value 1, or 3 per share, for the financial year ending March 2022. This generates a dividend yield of 1.51% at the current share price. 199.35. The company has a solid track record of dividend declarations during the last five years.
