Reshma Nanaiah to play the female lead in Prem’s magnum opus KD – The Devil. Produced by Suprith under the banner KVN Productions, KD – The Devil Stars Dhruv Sarja in the lead. The pan-India film is said to be based on the gang wars of Bengaluru in the 1970s.
The makers released the first-look poster of Reshma’s character Machiliakshmi. In the poster, the actress is seen in a fiery avatar slicing a piece of chicken. The poster reads, “Reshma Nanaiah as Machhalakshmi steps into KD’s vintage haunt.”

Reshma made her debut with the romantic drama Prem Ki one love yes In 2022. kd-the devil Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty and V Ravichandran are also there. Arjun Janya will compose the music for the film while William David is the cinematographer. Prem’s regular collaborator Srinivas P Babu is the editor. Veteran stunt master Ravi Varma will choreograph the action sequences.
Prem’s last big ticket film was villainStarring Shivrajkumar and Sudeep. The action thriller was panned by critics and fans alike for its shoddy script ruining the two superstars.
