Suchitra Krishnamurthy said, “I would have sharpened my mind, sharp…” Suchitra Krishnamurthy made me wonder if she would like to revisit the tumultuous years of her life when she was young. I had walked out of a famous matrimonial alliance.

His decisions and the circumstances around him turned it into his fictional memoir drama queen. Suchitra turned the bestseller into an equally popular musical drama, the “fresh” edition of which will be held in Delhi and Gurugram later this week.

Woven in her experience of the crucial years after her divorce from director Shekhar Kapur, the play questions the changing patterns of Indian culture and beliefs.

In this solo performance, the multifaceted Suchitra lends her voice to renowned actors like Sujatha Kumar, Suchitra Pillai and Arif Zakaria and is their co-actor, although they are not physically present on the stage.

“It is a unique experiment as they play real people who have acted at different points in my life. I took legal permission to use names,” says Suchitra, who was recently seen as a lawyer at Amazon Prime guilty mind,

“Typically, South Indian characters become caricatures in the Hindi cinematic space. Playing Neela, I retained the South Indian accent but gave her a certain style and class. It was well received,” says Suchitra, who is attracted to the many lawyers in her family , “Daily soaps don’t inspire me. I am keen to play small but impactful characters. people haven’t forgotten me yet murdered my wife.”

In fact, they haven’t forgotten Vipul Suchitra. never yes never either. In a previous interview, she told me she was lucky to be a part of the classic because she was more concerned about the heat on set and her cold drinks than the characterization.

“Oh yes! Today girls come more prepared for the task. Better roles are being written for female actors as many OTT platforms and production houses are headed by high potential women.”

She is writing a web series but has not been able to finish it.

Coming back on display in Delhi , Suchitra says that she agrees that every time she performs, she learns something new about her character. “The same lines give a whole new meaning. But the challenge of live singing bothers me!” Suchitra concluded.
