Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal hosted a wedding reception for their friends in Mumbai. Vicky Kaushal was one of the first guests at the bash.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal Wedding Reception in Mumbai: Newlyweds Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal hosted their wedding reception in Mumbai on Tuesday and one of the first guests was Vicky Kaushal. The actor made his way to wish his Masaan co-star and her husband.
Vicky Kaushal was seen wearing a dapper suit and walked the red carpet of the reception in a clean-shaven look. He was seen posing with Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal before posing alone. Vicky was seen attending the post-wedding ceremony without his wife, actress Katrina Kaif.
The Uri actor had earlier congratulated Richa and Ali on their wedding via social media. “Two wonderful souls coming together.” He further said, ‘Congratulations to both of you. Lots of love! Richa Chaddha Ali Fazal,” he wrote while sharing a picture from the couple’s wedding ceremonies.
The couple has been legally married for two and a half years. His spokesman confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday afternoon. The couple tied the knot on September 29 as per their respective traditions. They held their wedding receptions and parties in Delhi and Lucknow.
“They wanted to celebrate both their Punjabi and Lucknowi culture. The details of his celebrations were thoughtfully crafted to reflect his personality and his legacy. The clothing was also designed with special touches including trough heirloom jewelery and custom made trousseau, including a saree custom to depict their love story,” the statement said.
Ali proposed Richa in 2019. The couple had been planning a wedding for some time now. However, due to Covid-19, his plans got delayed. Speaking to News18.com earlier this year, Richa Chadha had said, “I think marriage will happen this year. Kar lenge someway (we will get married this year, we will get married somehow). We are very excited to get married but (we are) just worried about covid and want to be responsible. (We) don’t want to be in the news for the wrong reasons. Plus, we both got really busy when stuff opened up, and work resumed at full speed. That’s why I’m saying we love doing a live production job of taking combination dates and doing that this year. ,
