Riddhima Kapoor Sahni walked into a packed house in a classic white three-piece outfit and a fierce sequin ensemble for UK based high fashion brand Helen Anthony’s show at London Fashion Week. Exuding power and grandeur on the head ramp, Riddhima called the experience ‘real’.
Speaking to News18 after the show, Riddhima says, “The whole experience felt surreal, it felt amazing, I can’t believe it’s all over. It was quite an experience, and with the capital A it was amazing. Enthralled by her friends and well-wishers in the audience, Riddhima walked the ramp like a true diva. Riddhima also took to Instagram and shared a video of her debuting the show in a power suit. After uploading the video, Riddhima received praise from her industry friends and family including Neetu Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, and Monisha Jaising.
In an ensemble designed by Naeem Anthony, Riddhima enhanced the outfit with her statement jewelery piece from the Samara collection. From heritage to contemporary pieces, the collection, named after his daughter Samara, featured an eclectic mix of bracelets and waist belts, crafted in yellow and white gold, that were paired with Anthony’s modern silhouette.
Riddhima started the show in a white three-piece ensemble with a waistcoat, trousers and a trench coat and completed the look with a solitaire string necklace. With over 100 models walking in a 30-minute show designed by Helen Anthony and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni x Punjab Jewellers, the runway brought life to exquisite jewelery celebrating the ‘East Meets West’ theme.
Western silhouettes married to timeless diamond pieces made a bold fashion statement on the runway. The show also featured male models who walked the runway in blazers with diamond pieces adorned with semi-precious colored stones.
The ruby red sequin jacket she wore in the second look came with a polo and trousers and Riddhima paired the shimmery look with a large uncut diamond set. Riddhima looked stunning in bold lips and sleek hairstyle with her power dressing. Her look definitely gave an ‘Elizabeth Hurley’ vibe. As the show progressed, Riddhima made her second grand entry on the runway, this time with a baby twin. When asked who the little girl was with her, she said, “The baby was Helen, she’s Anthony’s daughter and since we wore matching outfits, I brought her to the ramp.”
