Rishabh Pant plays chess, asks fans to guess his opponent in a cryptic post cricket news

India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh PantKaran, who met with a horrific road accident in December last year, shared a cryptic post on his Instagram on Tuesday. The 25-year-old cricketer suffered multiple injuries in a road accident on December 30 and though the incident caused his car to catch fire, Pant managed to escape safely in time. Pant has been sharing updates about his health with his fans on social media at regular intervals but his latest Instagram story left fans confused.

Pant posted a picture of himself playing chess. The photo had a chessboard with some pieces lying in front of it, as well as an empty chair in the frame. The picture showed someone playing chess with Pant, but it was not revealed who was the wicket-keeper’s opponent in the game.

“Can anyone guess who’s playing?” read the caption of the picture.

Pant has undergone several surgeries and according to reports, his burn is also recovering. Doctors have predicted that he will need 6-9 months to fully recover from the injuries and he will definitely not play in this year’s Indian Premier League.

Earlier Indian cricket legends Kapil Dev Expressed his concern for the youngster and on a lighter note, he wants to slap Pant as soon as possible after he recovers from the injuries sustained in that fatal accident.

Kapil Dev said in a video on Uncut that Pant’s absence has put the Indian team in trouble. Just like parents have the right to slap their children if they make mistakes, Kapil wants to do the same with Pant after he recovers.
