Rolls-Royce Black Badge line-up to be showcased at Goodwood

The English luxury carmaker will showcase all the four Black Badge models currently in its line-up at the Festival of Speed.

Rolls-Royce has announced that it will be showcasing its entire Black Badge model range to the public at the Good Wood Festival of Speed. The English luxury carmaker currently has a four-model line-up including the drop-top Dawn, Cullinan, Wraith and New Ghost under the Black Badge series. The carmaker first introduced its Black Badge range in 2016, with models now accounting for about 27 percent of all model commissions the company receives from around the world. Compared to its standard counterparts, the Black Badge model features a darker cosmetic theme along with changes in mechanics to provide more power and a transformed driving experience as compared to the standard model.

Rolls-Royce to showcase its entire Black Badge range at Goodwood Festival of Speed

The company has said that the upcoming show will feature five cars, including two units of the Ghost Set, one of which will participate in a hill climb. The first will sit on the laundry green alongside the rest of the range while the second will be displayed in the VIP area. All the models displayed have been commissioned by the company’s customers. Another two Black Badge models will also be present at the show which will be used as a Don Courtesy car and a Cullinan will be used as a course safety car.

Along with the rest of the range, the Ghost On display will finish in dual-tone Galileo Blue and Black exteriors. As with all Black Badge models, the chrome elements on the exterior have a smoked finish, wherein the car sits on black alloy wheels with blue pinstripes and red brake calipers. The interior too follows the blue and black theme of the exterior.

The carmaker recently unveiled the new Ghost Black badge in India.

The second Ghost is finished in Lime Green and gets a carbon-fibre spirit of ecstasy ornamentation on the grille.

The Cullinan, meanwhile, will feature dark olive exteriors with mandarin coach lines and brake calipers. The SUV will sit on 22-inch black badge exclusive wheels and will also get carbon fiber milled spirit of ecstasy.
